Sarah Soto Berry
Sarah Soto Berry began her dance training at the young age of 2, and has pursued the life of a performer ever since. With dance training in Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Flamenco, Salsa & Hip Hop, she is well versed in the arts.
Soto’s dance training has taken her from NYC to LA with stops in Philadelphia PA, Jacksonville FL, Chicago IL, and Atlanta GA. She has studied under several dance legends including Frank Hatchett, Fredrick Bratcher & Finis Jhung. Although most known for her dancing, Soto enriched her education in entertainment with acting lessons throughout her high school years. After high school, Soto dove further into her pursuit for success when she received a full talent scholarship from Florida School of the Arts in 2006. There she studied modern dance styles [including Graham], ballet, jazz, piano, vocal training, and musical theater. Soto graduated in 2009 with a degree in Dance. In 2011, Soto signed with Xcel talent agency in Atlanta Ga and had a thriving dance career.
Soto has been blessed enough to grace the stage and the big screen alongside icons such as Paula Abdul, Jennifer Holiday, Janet Jackson, Biz Markee, Iggy Azaela, Nikki Williams, Jacquees, August Alsina, Trina, and many more. She has also danced and played small roles in films/television programs such as “For Colored Girls,” “Fast And Furious Five,” “Drop Dead Diva,” “Housewives of Atlanta,” “The Kandy Factory,” “Franklin and Bash,” and BET’s “106 & Park.” In 2013, Soto played a (dancer-actress) role in the thrilling off Broadway Production “Asylum,” in New York City.
Her other live performances include, The Soul Train Awards, The Legacy Awards, as well as the iHeart Radio summer tour in 2013. The artists featured included Demi Lovato, Neyo, Ed Sheeran, and Jason Derulo to name a few.
As Soto’s dance career took off, she also began to indulge in her love for creating and began teaching/choreographing for dance companies, recording artists, studios, award shows, weddings, and corporate events. Soto has been teaching dance for over 10 years now and has received several awards for her innovative choreography. She enjoys sharing her talent and knowledge with the younger generations & plans to continue teaching for as long as possible.
